Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Create and customize educational plans to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring they receive the appropriate services and accommodations.
Provide Virtual Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective online lessons tailored to students with varying abilities, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with Educators and Support Staff: Work closely with general education teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and resources.
Maintain Accurate Digital Records: Keep up-to-date, accurate documentation of student progress, IEP goals, and all communications related to the students' educational development.
Adapt Teaching Methods for Remote Learning: Utilize creative strategies and virtual tools to adjust lessons and activities to suit a variety of learning styles and capabilities in an online setting.

Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement: Must hold an active Michigan teaching license with the appropriate Special Education certification.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in special education, demonstrating a proven ability to address a wide range of learning needs.
Virtual Learning Proficiency: Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms and educational technologies to engage and support students in a remote environment.
Adaptability and Creativity: Able to think outside the box to create a dynamic, supportive, and personalized learning experience for students with diverse needs.
