Job Description

We are seeking a member-focused, energetic, and friendly Universal Banker to join our team at the Kaufman Branch. The Universal Banker will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships, fostering trust, and upholding integrity in all interactions, whether with Members, potential Members, or colleagues. Additionally, the Universal Banker will schedule appointments and serve as a backup for the branch Teller. This role also involves community engagement, representing the Credit Union at various Kaufman community and Chamber of Commerce events.

Responsibilities:

• Open new accounts and perform account maintenance for Members.
• Respond to inquiries and efficiently process Member requests.
• Conduct drive-thru transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
• Take ownership of Member issues and work towards their resolution.
• Identify Member needs and recommend appropriate products and services to enhance their financial well-being.
• Attend Greenville community events as an ambassador of the Credit Union

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of prior experience in a consultative sales role, in a financial institution. Experience in new accounts and general member service.
• Passion for building relationships and delivering outstanding service.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to identify financial needs by actively listening, asking questions, and providing informative responses.
• Proficiency in educating Members about and making referrals to Credit Union products and services.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing PCs, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment.

Additional Information

Salary $18-20+ /hour.
