Job Description

The Day Care Site Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of a specific daycare location, including supervising staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, implementing curriculum, maintaining compliance with regulations, and managing parent communication, essentially acting as the lead administrator at that particular site.

Key responsibilities of a daycare site manager:

  • Staff Management:
    • Hire, train, and supervise childcare staff within the site.
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff based on their qualifications and classroom needs.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
    • Address staff concerns and disciplinary issues.
  • Childcare Operations:
    • Oversee the implementation of the daycare curriculum and ensure it aligns with state standards.
