Senior Java Developer Description

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Java Developer to enhance our dynamic team. Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a fervent passion for crafting high-quality software that not only fulfills user needs but also aligns seamlessly with our product vision. In this role, you will work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, and other developers to implement features, rectify bugs, and perpetually refine our product. This position demands a solid grasp of software development best practices, a dedication to continual learning, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust Java applications
• Collaborate with team members to design and optimize code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standards
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Integrate front-end technologies using Angular for seamless user interfaces
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
• Clearly document all phases of the development process
• Work closely with other developers and product managers to meet strategic goals
• Implement security protocols within the software development life cycle
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Proficiency in using Spring framework for enterprise applications
• Skilled in Angular for creating intuitive and responsive front-end designs
• Experienced in full-stack development to handle both client and server software
• Familiar with software version control systems, such as GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex software issues
• Well-versed in Agile development methodologies and active participation in agile ceremonies
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and developers
• Strong communication skills capable of demystifying technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
• Fluent in English with a proficiency at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
