The ideal candidate will be have experience with layouts, magazines covers, and can utilize InDesign and Photoshop. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with editors to understand design requirements for editorial projects. Utilize InDesign and Photoshop to create layouts and designs for various publications. Perform photo editing and retouching to ensure high-quality images. Design magazine covers and other promotional materials that capture the essence of the publication. Visualize conceptual subject matter to effectively communicate ideas through design. Manage and organize stock photography for editorial use. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and production timelines. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design concepts. Qualifications Proficient in InDesign and Photoshop with a strong portfolio demonstrating production design skills. Experience in photo editing and high-quality image manipulation. Strong understanding of editorial design principles and practices. Ability to create engaging layouts for various types of publications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members. Nice to have: Experience with editorial cover design, stock photography editing, and magazine cover design. Creative mindset with the ability to visualize complex concepts and translate them into design.
