Overview:
Under general supervision, following general instructions and with discretion as to work details, develop complete major layout and engineering drawings of complicated components and assemblies such as schematics, interconnect lists, parts breakdown, printed circuit board layouts, wire lists, etc., from notes, rough sketches, or general instructions of engineers and designers. Make mathematical calculations as required. Determine scaling, insert necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations and sectioning. May use special techniques in schematic drawing, isometric, orthographic, perspective projection or other techniques of technical illustration. Contribute design modifications to improve quality of product or manufacturing operation. Working knowledge of tolerances, materials, finishes, etc. May provide work leadership to staff.
Responsibilities: Model and Route harness within mechanical model using Creo Harness. Produce Harness drawings of detail parts & assemblies using Creo Parametrics.
Required Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or General Education Degree or equivalent experience is required.
Ten years of related experience is required.
Experience in Creo Parametric harness modeling required. Knowledge of Windows & CAD required. Additional Skills: Creo or AutoCAD Advanced Training. No supervisory experience required.
