Duties and Responsibilities:

• They will also foster professional friendships with faculty and staff seek collaborative relationships with parents and mentor students in the pursuit of their own flourishing.
  
• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interpret results to support student learning.
  
• Participate in IEP meetings MTSS meetings and other staff or department meetings.
  
• Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students in individual or group settings per IEP requirements.
  
• Create goals and objectives for students to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges.
  
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design and implement appropriate interventions and accommodation for students.
  
• Maintain student records and submit information/records including student progress as needed to support students and adhere to IEP regulations.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher
  
• Current Illinois special services licensures with appropriate endorsement for OT
  
• 1 or more years experience or equivalent including familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
  
• Eligibility to work in the United States
  
• After offer is accepted satisfactory background check as required by state law and Colorado Department of Education
