Job Duties:

• Machine Setup and Operation : Operate equipment like die-cutters, flexo-folder gluers, or corrugators to produce cardboard products.
• Quality Control : Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, ensuring that they meet company standards and specifications.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues, making minor repairs when possible or reporting more serious problems to maintenance staff.
• Material Handling : Load raw materials such as paper rolls or adhesive into the machines and monitor the supply during operation to ensure continuous production. Use equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary.
• Production Reporting : Document production activities, including the quantity of products produced, any defects, and downtime reasons.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other operators, quality control staff, and supervisors to maintain smooth production flow and resolve any production challenges.
• Machine Calibration : Adjust settings like pressure, speed, and temperature on machines to accommodate different product specifications and ensure that they operate efficiently.
