Laser Marking Technician

Description:

The Laser Marking Technician is responsible for valve marking and programming. The Technician must be able to read and understand Engineering blueprints, follow work instructions precisely, and utilize any other approved and relevant documents during the course of work. The Technician will engage in direct production (marking) and adjacent activities (programming). The Technician will engage in a variety of programming activities such as: New program creation, revision, and/or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Mark units per Engineering drawing, work instructions, and other specifications.
• Engage in machine set-up, operation, and part inspection to verify conformance
• Engage in program creation, revision, and maintenance as necessary.
• Perform routine verification checks to ensure marking(s) conform to specifications.

Requirements

• Must have prior experience operating and programming laser marking machinery.
• Must be familiar with TruMark Station 5000, Keyence UV laser, or equivalent machines.
• Possess at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing/production role/with repetitive tasks.
• Can understand Engineering blueprints, work instructions, and other relevant documents.
• Must have an intermediate level of computer literacy.
• Must be highly detail oriented.
• A background check and drug screen are contingent upon hiring.

Notes to Candidates:

Note: Only individuals with prior aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent will be considered for the position.

Individuals must possess prior experience operating and programming laser machinery.

Candidates proficient with the above listed brands will be highly considered.

Salary info:

$16 - $18 / hr
