Responsibilities

• Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm
• Must be willing to work one evening (until 7pm) weekly;
• 4 Day Work Week is an Option (With 8 Hr. Days)
• Will be Managing Patients with HIV and Other STI’s, and Will Also be Seeing Patients in Primary Care As Well
• Actively engages with the HIV grant, participates in decision-making, and is proactive in chart reviews and patient care. Seeks to evaluate break downs in patient care and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Leads STI screenings and offers PrEP to eligible patients as part of comprehensive risk assessment.
• This Role is Outpatient
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide therapeutic interventions
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Rotating Paid On-Call, By Phone Only

Requirements

• Active MA Medical License and DEA Licenses
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• 2+ years’ experience with treating HIV/STI patients in primary care or completed a Residency focused on HIV in primary care (a plus)
• Has experience prescribing PrEP.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Primary Care.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian-Creole and English is a plus, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
