Job Description

Thompson First Group is seeking Service Technicians for permanent opportunities for a local client in St. Louis, MO.

The right candidate will have at least three years of experience working as Automotive Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Farm Equipment Mechanic or a Forklift Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Road Mechanic should be experienced in electronics and hydraulics repair
• Diesel and gas engine repairs
• The ability to service and maintain fleet of aerial and heavy equipment
• Communicate with managers to asses customer needs
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs of industrial and construction equipment
• Complete all technician paperwork.
• Assure all parts order have been submitted to parts department
• Perform detailed pre job and post job inspections
• Follow warranty procedure for associated repairs
• Keep a clean and safe work area
• Work well with other technicians when help is needed

Qualifications

• Clean driving record
• Technical experience
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematic
• Detail oriented
• Good communication skills
• Sufficient hand tools
• Prompt and consistent attendance
