Draft Note We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and overseeing a diverse range of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings. This position requires exceptional project management skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.

Pay:

$24.00 - $30.50 per hour

Job:

Duties:

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, decor, entertainment, and transportation.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and financial goals are met.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and objectives for the event, providing guidance and recommendations.
• Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, including venues, caterers, and equipment suppliers.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines to ensure smooth execution of all events.
• Oversee event staff and volunteers, providing direction and support during the planning and execution phases.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and gather feedback for future improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role within the event planning industry.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges effectively.
• Familiarity with event management software and tools, as well as standard office applications.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
