Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Purser to join our dynamic team aboard an ocean-going cruise ship. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of all customs, immigration, and administrative documentation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in US waters, possess exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient clearance of the ship through Customs and Immigration.
• Accurately produce and manage all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Supervise the 90-day US CBP crew check.
• Maintain and foster productive relationships with relevant officials.
• Handle various administrative duties related to the documentation process.
• Provide support and assistance to other departments as required.

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Documentation Purser, in US waters.
• Strong administrative skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage and produce accurate documentation in a timely manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to diplomatically interact with officials.
• Familiarity with Customs and Immigration processes and regulations.
• A degree or certification in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Contract Details:

• Rolling contracts averaging 6 months onboard the vessel, followed by 2 months of vacation.
• Single cabin with en-suite bathroom facilities.
