Dell Rapids Dental Clinic is seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during patient procedures and ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. You will also be responsible for providing patients with a high level of care and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including taking digital x-rays, sterilizing instruments, and preparing materials and equipment.
• Provide patients with information about dental procedures and educate them on good oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization and cleaning of equipment and instruments.
• Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
