Job Description

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in the company’s databases. This role involves handling a variety of administrative tasks to support the business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with data entry software.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input data into spreadsheets and company databases.
• Update and maintain customer records, inventory lists, and financial information.
• Verify the accuracy of data entered and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
• Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing paperwork.
• Generate regular reports based on data collected and perform basic analysis as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Assist other departments with data-related tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Basic understanding of data management and reporting.
• Previous experience in a data entry role is a plus but not required.
