Compensation: $150,000-$160,000 USD

About the Role  
Reporting to the VP, Creative, the Creative Director, Brand Design will oversee the design and execution of all marketing initiatives across our diverse business units at WildBrain. In this key role, you will establish and ensure a cohesive brand identity across various platforms, from corporate presentations and trade advertisements to website layouts, logos, development pitches, story bibles, and social media assets. As the supervisor of our company's visual narrative, you will play a pivotal role in directing the branding and creative direction. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for elevating brands strategically and tactically, ensuring that the work is completed on time, within budget, and to the complete satisfaction of our clients. Job Description

  • Work in collaboration with the VP, Creative of WildBrain to elevate and direct the WB brand across both B2B and B2C
  • Collaborate with internal partners to bring business strategies to life, focusing on creative excellence, diverse talent, craft, creativity, innovation, and collaboration
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and goals
  • Foster productive working relationships with creative agencies and vendors as needed
  • Lead the design direction and development for WildBrain across internal business units, B2B, and B2C
  • Own creative direction for WB consumer and trade marketing across all mediums/platforms
  • Translate business needs/strategies into creative execution
  • Ensure the expression of the brand is applied consistently with excellence across all consumer touchpoints
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external agencies/partners to ensure successful project execution
  • Present to senior leadership, influencing business and creative decisions and directions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and bring new and innovative ideas to drive the business forward.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in creative leadership roles within entertainment, brands, or agencies. Should have a proven portfolio and experience leading and inspiring teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like fine arts, graphic design, or marketing
  • Brand development: knowledge of how to develop brand identities and a strong understanding of brand development concepts
  • Expert with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, motion graphics and editing software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information concisely and accurately
  • An in-depth understanding of design and copy best practices/guidelines
