Job Description

Position: Content Marketing Specialist (Remote, Part-Time)
Position Type: Direct Placement
Compensation: Part-Time/Hourly. 30-40/hr
Location: Can be located anywhere, fully remote. 
Reports To: Director of Marketing / CEO
Department: Marketing

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute content marketing strategies to drive traGic and engagement.
• Create high-quality written content, including blog posts, Linkedin posts, email drip campaigns, outbound campaigns and other written materials
• Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
• Manage and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with the design and social media teams to ensure content is visually appealing and aligns with brand guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a content marketer or similar role.
3. Exceptional writing and editing skills, especially in storytelling and communications
4. Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
5. Eye for design and aesthetics
6. Experience with email marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot).
7. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
8. Proficiency in using software and AI tools for content creation, optimization, and performance tracking.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interest and passion for climate tech and sustainability

• Previous experience in individual marketing execution at Seed - Series B stage startups

• Bonus: Experience with video content planning, scripting, and project execution
