Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Clinical Research Assistant position at a medical research facility. The primary responsibilities involve supporting the research team in daily operations, maintaining patient interactions, and ensuring study protocols are followed. An endocrinology background and experience with patient interaction is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Support recruitment efforts by pre-screening and scheduling patients.
Prepare source binders for patient visits and handle medical record requests.
Ensure e-diaries are scheduled and completed by participants.
Assist with patient check-in/out, payment processing, and scheduling.
Manage study inventory, including lab and study supplies.
Record adverse events and report side effects to investigators for sponsor communication.
Resolve auto queries and enter data in the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system within 24 hours of query issuance.
Maintain accurate master logs for each study, including ICF, patient ID, and enrollment.
Maintain temperature logs daily as needed.
Perform blood draws, EKGs, and vitals as required.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
6+ months of experience as a Medical Assistant/EMT or similar medical background preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Research experience is a plus.
Education and Experience:
GED or HS Diploma required; some college preferred.
Associate's in Science or Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience may substitute for certification.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
This is a temporary position with potential for extension. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift. Pay rate is dependent upon level of education and experience. If you meet the qualifications, please submit your resume for immediate consideration.
