Chiropractor LaPlace, LA (30 miles NW of New Orleans)
We are looking for a Chiropractor to join our integrated practice full time in LaPlace, LA. Our state-of-the-art office is in the St. John Parish, part of the New Orleans-Metairie metropolitan statistical area, just 30 miles nw of the city.

We are looking for a professional, service-oriented team player to lead our very busy chiropractic practice. As a full-time Chiropractor, you will be responsible for utilizing techniques to alleviate problems in patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems. Candidates must have strong organization and leadership skills and be able to coordinate and track a variety of details to provide a seamless patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, be a quick learner, enjoy multi-tasking and staying organized, be flexible, and understand the importance of a positive, courteous and a professional attitude in the workplace. Great attention to detail and clear communication with patients are essential.

Duties:
-Patient Consultations/evaluations and exams (Review medical history, physical exam healthcare needs and goals, review pertinent records)
-Arrange for Diagnostic x-rays and review results
-Evaluate the functioning of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the spine using systems of chiropractic diagnosis
-Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
-Patient education as to the diagnosis, treatment plan, care plan options, need for following up with continued care, and pre and post care
-Chiropractic care- Manual adjustments, use of supports such as straps, tapes, bandages, and braces, if necessary ,advise patients on nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, and stress management
-Monitor patients for compliance
-Collaborating with colleagues for comprehensive patient care, seamless office flow, and meeting the objectives of the company
-Documentation- thorough, timely and accurate
-Participate in regular office/team meetings
-Regular patient follow up and care
- Consult with and refer patients to appropriate health practitioners when necessary
-Maintain proper cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and work environment
Qualifications:
-Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic Program (DC)
-Chiropractic license to practice in LA
-1 year of Chiropractic experience preferred
-Ability to empathize with patients who are in chronic pain and a strong desire to help improve their quality of life
-Must be able to think critically and make judgements about how best to help patients
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team
-Up to date on the latest chiropractic practices and a desire to provide cutting-age care
Schedule:
-Full time
Compensation (range):
-$70k-92k a year (DOE)
