Under the direction of the Office Building Manager III, the Chief Engineer II in the Facilities Management Division (FMD) Ronald M. George State Office Complex supervises the daily building and engineering operations, maintenance, special projects and repairs of building systems including heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems, auxiliary electrical plants and other mechanical and power equipment in State-owned and occupied buildings in accordance with FMD guidelines and manuals.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.

  • The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
  • The position(s) require(s) a(n) (EPA) Section 608 Technician Certificate. You will be required to provide a copy of your certificate prior to being hired.
