Are you ready to play a crucial role in supporting the financial security of U.S. military members and their families? We're looking for a dedicated Business Insurance Agent to join our Commercial Lines department.
This is a full-time, remote position with a friendly and collaborative team!
Training Schedule:
Duration: 13-15 weeks
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST)
Work Schedule:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM CST (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST)
What You'll Do:
Serve as a consultative partner for business owners, providing expert advice on insurance and risk management.
Utilize your knowledge of compliance and insurance standards to minimize exposure and ensure proper documentation.
Classify businesses and deliver accurate risk management solutions, leveraging your understanding of B2B sales cycles.
Conduct account reviews to provide consultative advice based on members' and nonmembers' risk profiles.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance your expertise in technical and financial issues.
Navigate Agency Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools effectively to select the best products for clients.
Collaborate with underwriters on endorsements and renewals to secure optimal coverage for clients.
Calculate Insurance to Value (ITV) for various property types and ensure accurate replacement values.
Provide exceptional service for policy changes, renewals, and more, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
Build relationships with affluent members, nonmembers, and business owners, offering a personalized service experience.
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
2 years of insurance sales and service experience, including 1 year in a high-value insurance agency or commercial setting.
Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for your home state, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Experience handling sensitive information and a strong background in High Net Worth/Private Client insurance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
What Sets You Apart:
4+ years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance account management, specifically in writing new business.
Proficiency with Agency Management Systems and Salesforce.
Experience in a multi-carrier environment and an active P&C General Lines License.
