Job Description

Our client, a NJ-based real estate firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including billing, invoicing, and collections
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Generate and analyze reports to monitor outstanding balances
• Collaborate with property managers and leasing agents to ensure timely billing and payment
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts related to receivables
• Maintain organized and accurate records
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
• 2+ years of real estate accounts receivable experience required
• Experience with Yardi is required
