Job Summary:
The Lewis Honors College at the University of Kentucky is accepting
applications for an Academic Advisor I. The Academic Advisor I will work with students through direct one-on-one advising, including but not limited to providing information on course selection and registration, interpreting and explaining university and college policies and degree requirements, assisting students to identify skill interest and career options, and advising students on academic-related issues specific to that individual student. The Academic Advisor I will regularly monitor student progress to degree, considering current coursework, as well as any previously earned credit to assist the student with maintaining timely degree completion. In addition to these responsibilities, the Academic Advisor I will assist with multiple orientations and recruitment events throughout the year.
